Anthony Gerardi

Anthony is a Partner in Prophet’s Chicago office and has over 15 years experience developing and deploying innovation strategies to drive organic growth and acquisitions. His expertise lies in helping organizations build a competency to dramatically increase the likelihood and repeatable of successful innovations. He leads clients through every phase of the innovation process, from research and ideation to implementation. Anthony has worked with companies in a variety of industries on innovations that created stronger brands, unique customer experiences, and new business models and offerings.
Prior to joining Prophet, Anthony was the Practice Leader and Innovation Strategist at Doblin Group, where he worked with Fortune 500 clients to develop and implement innovation strategies. He drove extensive, successful international engagements, including multicultural teams and initiatives based in Seoul, South Korea, and Zurich, Switzerland. He led global teams to create innovation strategies and transform company cultures, developing new business models, brands, offerings, and customer experiences for public and private companies. Helping clients successfully deploy these strategies to fuel innovation through both organic growth and acquisitions. During his tenure at Doblin he helped dramatically grow the firm and eventually sell it to a larger global consulting firm.
Prior to Doblin Group, Anthony worked at MetLife as Vice President and Co-leader of Innovation and strategic private equity investments. While there, he partnered with internal business units to improve their innovation strategy and performance through external strategic investments and partnerships. Prior to MetLife, Anthony worked in private equity, including General Electric’s private equity group. Anthony has lead investments for MetLife, Divine, and General Electric with over $100 million of investment experience. He has accumulated a strong track record as an active investor, using innovation strategies and methods to identify new white space opportunities and improve the performance portfolio companies.
Anthony received a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Anthony is co-president of the Columbia Business School Alumni Association of Chicago.
