Fred Geyer joins Prophet as Partner

SAN FRANCISCO (June 16, 2008) – Fred Geyer, age 48, has joined Prophet as a partner, the company announced today. He brings more than 24 years of marketing and management experience to the firm.

Geyer joins Prophet, based in its Chicago office, from Zyman Group where he served as senior managing principal of its Chicago office since 2005. At Zyman he focused on marketing-driven growth strategies, marketing effectiveness, and brand revitalization.

Prior to Zyman, he spent two years as senior vice president of marketing at Electrolux Home Care Products North America in Bloomington, Ill. He was also the principal and founder of Ashmont International Management Consulting in Toronto.

A resident of Chicago, Illinois he holds a bachelor degree from Harvard University and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
