NYU’s Tülin Erdem Named Academic Partner at Prophet
SAN FRANCISCO (July 7, 2008) – Tülin Erdem, a Leonard N. Stern Professor of Business and Professor of Marketing at New York University’s Stern School of Business, has been named an Academic Partner at Prophet. In that capacity, she will consult exclusively for Prophet’s clients.

Erdem, whose research interests include brand management and equity, consumer choice, econometric modeling and pricing, has published several papers in top field journals. She also has won two major National Science Foundation grants. She is an associate editor with three prestigious journals: Marketing Science, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, and Journal of Consumer Research. She also serves as an editorial board member of five other marketing journals.
Prior to joining Stern in 2006, Erdem was the E.T. Grether Professor of Business Administration and Marketing at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. She was with the school since 1993, holding various posts.
Erdem, holds a PhD in Business Administration and an MA in Economics, both from the University of Alberta. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Bogaziçi University.
