Jason Tan

Jason Tan is a Senior Associate at Prophet in the Singapore office where he helps companies identify and unlock new opportunities through innovative and customer-centric strategies. Prior to joining Prophet, Jason worked within the SG government startups and ventures team to hunt for the best technologies to bring to Singapore. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as a technology consultant with Accenture and EY Digital.

As Senior Associate, Jason works on strategy engagements for Prophet, with a focus on innovation and brand transformation. Jason focuses on growth strategy with an expertise in innovation exploration, process improvement, marketing, UX digital strategies and automation technologies that supports best-in-class service design.

Over the years, Jason has worked across several industries, serving clients such as: Visa, American Express, Credit Suisse, DBS, Bank of Singapore, UOB, Infrastructure Asia, Enterprise Singapore. With these clients, he has experience in gathering business and technical requirements, running design thinking workshops, managing a diverse group of designers and developers, co-establishing center of excellences, and rolling out enterprise systems and applications. Through IMDA, he has developed a keen interest in startups and disruptive technologies by evaluating and assisting them in their growth journey.

Jason is a regular trainer at education institutes (NTU/NUS/Ngee Ann Poly) where he advises students and young startups on business models, customer strategies, digital marketing, UIUX, growth hacking and regularly shares his project experience with aspiring consultants.

Jason holds an Economics Degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
