Joey Zhang is a senior associate at Prophet's Shanghai office. He helps both global and local brands in varying industries unearth uncommon and sustainable growth through fusing and synthesizing consumer-centric, rigorously strategic, and inspiringly creative approaches.

He has extensive experience in multiple industries, including automobile, technology, and financial services, addressing a wide range of business challenges such as portfolio strategy, positioning and innovations.

He has partnered with Kia China to build its brand value proposition against Gen Z with winning innovation ideas across brand and commercial pillars. He also has conducted in-depth brand assessments for Hyundai China to address its customer churn challenge. Joey believes a purpose-driven brand vision worked in sync with rigorous corporate strategies, is the most powerful engine to unlock new waves of growth.

Joey graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Bachelor degrees in Business administration and Geography. He is also passionate at other disciplines, particularly real estate and urban planning.
