Kara Franey

Kara is our vice president of talent development in Prophet’s Atlanta office and has spent more than 20 years helping companies grow by developing their employees.

She spends most of her time building clients’ business intelligence, studying the intersection of their people, strategy and operational excellence. She knows how to detect what individuals need to perform at their highest levels. And the more people develop those skills for success, the more they add to a brand’s value. (It’s no coincidence that she graduated from the University of Alabama and is a passionate fan of its football program, never missing a game.) She’s also a big believer in the Ralph Waldo Emerson approach to coaching: “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

When she’s not thinking about attraction, retention, business insights or college football, she likes to muse about what it means to be a Southerner. “So many myths,” she says. “Ask me, and I’ll tell you the truth.”
