Yuko Kanai

Yuko is a service designer based in the New York office. As a member of the Experience & Innovation platform, she takes a systems view of how we can leverage peoples, tools, and resources to serve the needs of users.

Prior to her time at Prophet, Yuko worked with femtech, aging care and holistic care startups to design products, brands and experience. In those roles, she established design research processes that centered around user needs that have historically been overlooked and marginalized. From this experience, she continues to apply this approach throughout all her work at Prophet.

She earned her MFA in Products of Design at the School of Visual Arts. Her love for all forms of design has led her to dabble in various crafts, like jewelry-making and sewing.
