Dency Cheng

Dency is a senior engagement manager in Prophet’s Singapore office. She has worked with clients across Asia Pacific in industries including finance, retail, F&B and consumer electronics. Valuing trust, impact and excellence, she has a strong passion for consumer insights and customer-centric experiences driven by human intuition and data.

Prior to joining Prophet, Dency was a Senior Policy Analyst at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, responsible for formulating macro-prudential policies to maintain financial stability in Singapore. Before taking on this role, she had 4 years of experience in business development, working with C-suite executives of global financial institutions to expand their banking businesses in Asia and Singapore.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dency received a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and an M.B.A. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She was the only person to receive the MBA Academic Excellence Award in 2018.
