Amova Asset Management

From Japan to the World: Creating a distinctive identity to unlock global ambition

Challenge

Born in Tokyo, Nikko Asset Management had built a trusted legacy over 65 years in Japan and beyond. As the business evolved—broadening its investor base, expanding its investment capabilities and deepening its global footprint—its engagement model also became more modern, language-agnostic and globally integrated.

But while the company’s Tokyo heritage remained a powerful part of its identity, its brand no longer fully reflected the business it had become or the future it was building toward. As Nikko Asset Management continued to grow globally, it saw an opportunity to create a new brand that could better express both its origins and its international ambition.

Solution

Prophet partnered with Nikko Asset Management to create a brand for its next chapter of growth. Through interviews, audits, and co-creation workshops, we clarified the company’s ambition and the role the brand could play in expressing it.
The result was Amova Asset Management, a new name shaped through a collaborative process involving 175 colleagues worldwide over more than a year.

Derived from “Asset Management”, “Move” and “Nova,” Amova expresses progress, renewal and continuous innovation.
The new brand reflects the firm’s evolution as a global asset manager and its commitment to helping clients navigate a changing investment landscape with confidence.

We brought the brand to life through a visual identity that combines precision with warmth. An arrow-inspired motif conveys direction and momentum, while a distinctive purple palette and rounded forms express confidence and approachability. Under the tagline “Your Goals. Our Commitment.” and the message “Born in Tokyo. Shaped in Asia. Powered by Global Insight.”, the brand launched across film, digital, print, and out-of-home channels.

“Thanks to the Prophet team for the wonderful partnership and it has been an exhilarating journey for us as a firm. All the members from Prophet have been so dedicated and accommodative to our timeline, budget, and iterative discussions. The depth of expertise and insights are greatly respected and recognized by stakeholders in the firm.”

Marine Stewardship Council

Making choosing sustainability simple through an everyday awareness campaign

Challenge

Since its inception, the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) has been on a global mission to end overfishing and secure our future seafood supply. Its blue fish ecolabel appears on tens of thousands of wild-caught seafood products worldwide, signifying they come from independently verified fisheries with environmentally sustainable fishing practices. With a focus on ocean health and accountability, the MSC has demonstrated unwavering dedication to its mission of protecting marine ecosystems for future generations.

Over the years, however, as the sustainability landscape grew increasingly crowded, the MSC faced a challenge: a noticeable change among its core consumer. This values-driven shopper was becoming more time-strapped while battling decision fatigue, skepticism around greenwashing, and an overwhelming flood of conflicting messaging. Common mental shortcuts that cue health and sustainability for protein—like ‘grass-fed’ and ‘cage-free—don’t exist in the seafood aisle, leaving shoppers to default to the fastest option rather than one more closely aligned with their values. MSC sought help from Prophet to reconnect with the conscious consumer and position their label as a relevant, trusted, and effortless solution in the seafood aisle.

Solution

To uncover the core drivers of today’s overwhelmed shopper, we embarked on a deep dive into consumer behavior. By conducting proprietary consumer research across the United States, we gained a profound understanding of MSC’s target audience and their evolving mindset. We identified a critical tension: consumers distrust vague sustainability claims but still deeply want their purchases to reflect their values.

From there, we explored the specific anxieties present in the seafood category. We learned that shoppers face unique challenges with seafood—heightened anxiety around safety, sourcing, and quality—with less familiarity of universal in-aisle heuristics to guide them. This lent valuable insights into the target audience and the unique role MSC should play in the aisle. The takeaway was clear: what today’s shopper needs is not more information, but a simple, no-regrets option.

Through strategic collaboration, we crafted a compelling creative platform that reflects the MSC’s credible heritage and what the organization needs to be in the future. We anchored this platform with a bold promise: “See the Label. Know You’re Good.” This repositioned the MSC blue fish from a complex environmental badge to an intuitive symbol akin to a green walk sign that allows shoppers to confirm their choice and move forward with total confidence.

We then distilled this strategy into a clear, market-ready activation plan driven by three core principles:

  • Meeting consumers where they are
  • Building small, reliable habits
  • Restoring a sense of purchasing control

With a refined creative concept, we translated the platform into a playbook for market activation. We served in an advisory capacity as the MSC and its partners developed final executions for a four-week integrated push. Spanning out-of-home advertising, in-store placements, and digital channels, this comprehensive rollout brought the strategy to life for the everyday shopper without relying on doom-and-gloom environmentalism.

Images and video provided by Marine Stewardship Council, in collaboration with Joel Pylypiw (art director), Nick Ghattas (photographer), Christina Frantzis (stylist) and Intersection.

Results

Armed with a research-grounded creative platform built to flex across global markets, the MSC successfully launched the “See the Label. Know You’re Good” campaign during Earth Month 2026. The organization activated the brand externally through an integrated, multi-channel rollout with leading outdoor media companies in the US and Canada, in major retailers like Loblaw, Empire, and Metro, and digital placements across Meta, YouTube, Instacart, and Spotify.

Furthermore, the MSC extended the campaign’s reach directly into trusted, community-level conversations through influencer partnerships with chefs and nutritionists. The MSC now possesses a reusable strategic asset to drive meaningful, ongoing consumer engagement far beyond a single campaign, effectively turning sustainability into an effortless everyday habit.

Meaningful impact happens when we align a clear vision with human behavior. By grounding our strategy in genuine consumer tensions, we gave MSC a platform that cuts through the noise, elevates brand relevance, and helps consumers shop confidently for certified sustainable seafood.

“We now have renewed clarity and understanding of our target consumer and how to reach them with a resonant message, shaping the direction of our consumer engagement campaigns moving forward. Prophet brought clear, actionable insights and creative that moved our brand forward, while still feeling like us.”

UBS

From integration to inspiration: how brand defined UBS’s new era

Challenge

When UBS acquired Credit Suisse in 2023, it marked the largest financial services merger in history and a pivotal moment for the industry. With over 100,000 employees and two storied institutions coming together, the challenge extended far beyond operational integration.

UBS needed to define a new era of leadership and reintroduce itself to the world with clarity, unity and purpose. This was not simply about merging two entities; it was about reinventing the brand to drive long-term growth and cultural transformation.

The merger represented a defining moment, an opportunity to redefine UBS’s identity on the global stage. The real potential lay not in integrating two legacy brands under one identity, but in leveraging brand as the engine behind cultural alignment, business transformation and long-term success.

Solutions

To guide UBS through this pivotal transformation, it was essential to anchor the brand in a bold, unifying concept. The breakthrough came in the form of Craft – a refined and emotionally resonant idea that bridged UBS’s legacy with its leadership ambitions. It centered employees around a shared purpose while signaling clarity, confidence and innovation to the world. Craft also reinforced UBS’s reputation for trust and deep expertise, its commitment to long-standing client relationships and staying true to its Swiss heritage.

Prophet worked closely with UBS across four core workstreams:

  • Integration – Orchestrating the brand migration from Credit Suisse to UBS, from business cards and signage to dual-branded branches, ensuring clarity across more than 50 countries.
  • Strategy – Refreshing UBS’s global brand positioning, divisional value propositions and employer brand.
  • Transformation – Building a future-ready marketing function with combined teams, aligning global, divisional and local efforts around Prophet’s Uncommon Growth approach.
  • Activation
    • Bringing “Banking is our Craft” to life, UBS’s first global brand campaign since 2016. Developed by Prophet and executed in partnership with Publicis, the campaign spotlighted UBS’s distinct values, reintroducing the brand to clients, prospects and investors worldwide.
    • We complemented this campaign with the UBS House of Craft experience platform, which features events in partnership with luxury brands such as Dior, IWC and Laurent Ferrier. And in parallel, developed the UBS Craftmakers series to showcase the stories, and craft, of high-profile figures including Formula One drivers and cultural icons Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, stylist June Ambrose, neon artist Chankalun and composer and maestro Long Yu.

Results

UBS set out to reshape the industry through the largest merger in financial services history — and emerged stronger, with renewed purpose and momentum. Prophet partnered with UBS on a brand-led transformation powered by clarity of purpose and shared values, designed for long-term relevance. In 2025, UBS recognized this work with a Brand Excellence Award, marking another milestone in our 20+ year partnership driving operational success and Uncommon Growth.

ESPN BET

Awareness, understanding, engagement: Helping ESPN BET hit the advertising trifecta

Challenge

ESPN BET is a sportsbook app owned and operated by PENN Entertainment in partnership with ESPN. To break through the noise in a crowded sports betting space, they needed a campaign to lean hard into the app’s distinctive and competitive reasons to believe (RTBs).

Solution

While advertising campaigns often struggle to reconcile the tension between brand prominence, product information and audience entertainment, we developed a creative concept designed to bring them together —utilizing a comedic situation to showcase ESPN BET’s key features, and make the product the undisputed star of the show.

Each spot features two fans: one knows all about ESPN BET, while the other muses fondly about the advantages “if there was an ESPN sports betting app.” The in-the-know friend tries in vain to explain that, in fact, they do, and it’s great – going so far as to show their friend the app on their phone. Lost in thought, their unaware friend continues to describe a product that clearly already exists.

A comedic reveal underscores the obliviousness : An ESPN BET blimp slowly passing by in one and a towering ESPN BET mural behind our characters in the other.

The spots were conceived and shot in a way that further versioning could be created through new audio and graphics options—a modular approach that opened the door to accommodating different RTBs and features as the need arose.

Results

The campaign is live on national and regional TV as well as on ESPN.com. The ads complement the busy sport season of March Madness, NBA and NHL Playoffs, and PGA tournaments.

Beazley

Modernizing a brand that’s redefining risk

Challenge

Beazley, a successful FTSE 100 B2B specialty insurer, has always seen risk as an opportunity to innovate. Its people, values and culture power its success, shaping its approach to creating services and solutions that deliver positive outcomes for its clients, partners and investors. With the business evolving and the ways in which it communicates with its audiences changing, Beazley sought to convey its smart thinking and new brand values through a refreshed identity and global campaign.

Solutions

Prophet dove in. Our approach focused on modernizing Beazley’s brand expression, making it fit for today’s digital world while staying true to its original spirit. Illustration has always played a big part in Beazley’s toolkit, working with a renowned illustrator, our design team infused Beazley’s iconic pencil line with a new expressive fluidity, using motion to capture the adaptable thinking and seamlessness of Beazley’s solutions. Next, we intensified Beazley’s signature pink, supercharging it for all digital uses. And we re-energized the insurer’s verbal expression with spirited copy and playful typography.

We then undertook Beazley’s largest project to date – a global brand campaign to launch the new look and feel: `Insurance. Just Different’, underscoring Beazley’s unique approach to insurance and its role as a pioneer in risk management.

Tone of voice

The insurance industry isn’t known for its boundary-pushing tonality, but Beazley is changing that narrative. Prophet crafted a tone of voice that expresses their unique personality and is integral to their overall brand expression. This refined tone brings their perspective to life, highlighting their distinctive character and outlook.

“When we partnered Prophet with our own team, the magic started. We got creative and put our bold plans into action. It’s rewarding to see the brand making a genuine impact and engaging internal and external audiences alike.”

Georgina Peters-Venzano
CMO, Beazley

Bringing it to life

To kick off the campaign with newsworthy impact, Beazley held a high-profile, experiential brand launch event in London featuring the first-ever private drone show over the River Thames, illuminating the City of London skyline with the new logo and brand illustrations. The event generated a video that has achieved over 2.5 million YouTube views and garnered significant media attention. Additionally, tube and rail stations in London’s financial district were transformed with bold ads on screens, floors and the travelator at Bank Station, achieving nearly 50 million in-person and digital impressions.

“Beazley is the kind of client you dream of. Their palpable culture, direction and energy as a business are beautifully reflected in the spirit of their evolved identity. It’s a truly rewarding partnership.”

Gregg Finlay
Executive Creative Director, Prophet

Impact

The campaign’s success extended globally, with marquee brand events in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Singapore and Toronto. The new brand video Prophet created with Beazley garnered 1.8 million YouTube views, a remarkable feat for an insurance company that doesn’t sell directly to the public.

Most importantly, the brand and associated efforts are redefining Beazley’s positioning as a leader in innovative risk solutions, as evidenced by its record-breaking financial performance. In 2024, the Insurindex Brand Power Index ranked Beazley as the top player in the market, up from third place in 2023, based on market share and brand perception.

By re-energizing Beazley’s look and feel, capturing its dynamic spirit and employing compelling storytelling and unique brand activations, a new standard has been set for branding in insurance and financial services.

Rust-Oleum

A market leader generates new demand in a fast-changing retail landscape

Challenge

Rust-Oleum is the leading manufacturer of premium consumer and industrial paint and coating products. While market share remains strong, they recognized a shift where retailers are increasingly capitalizing upon consumer insights stemming from proprietary purchase data, and Rust-Oleum wanted to ensure they remain at the forefront of understanding consumer needs.

As retailers build sophisticated media networks capable of targeted advertising throughout the customer journey, Rust-Oleum identified their own need to deepen target audience segmentation, streamline consumer purchase journeys, and improve product experiences. They are constantly working to increase brand consideration across products to build loyalty and generate repeat purchases. While Rust-Oleum has built substantial retail distribution through product innovation and depth of channel relationships, it has become essential for Rust-Oleum to build its own demand generation capability to inspire and educate consumers in new ways.

Central to this transformation is the pivotal role of data, posing a significant opportunity in understanding target audiences, evaluating sales performance, and aligning marketing investments with sales and broader business objectives.

Rust-Oleum’s ambition goes beyond defining a new organizational function; it requires a shift towards consumer-centricity, emphasizing projects over products and necessitating the establishment of robust data-driven capabilities.

As a leader in their space, the company recognized the importance of staying ahead of the latest demand generation capabilities and ways of working.

Solutions

Organizational paradigm shifts are complex. Helping this 103-year-old company transition from a product-centric wholesaler to a customer-driven growth engine required four components.

Structural overhaul: Rust-Oleum’s first crucial step clarified the structure, capabilities, and resources required for the demand generation team. That meant redefining the marketing function, finding new ways to work with sales and content creation teams.

Prophet, which has researched ways brand and demand work together in today’s marketing industry, helped increase focus on internal misunderstanding of a demand generation capability, emphasizing the importance of understanding a broader audience target beyond their core spray paint consumers. We helped stakeholders see how these demand generation goals align with the company’s overarching business objectives.

Building the perfect pilot: Next, we focused on creating a tangible example of exemplary demand generation, illustrating what success looks like from conception to execution. The effort required a comprehensive industry and landscape analysis, using competitive insights to deepen the company’s audience personas and develop a meticulous media plan.

Full-funnel implementation: The solution also emphasized a full-funnel approach, guiding Rust-Oleum beyond awareness and into sustained engagement and enablement.  The company has implemented that approach across their national marketing platform as they shift focus from products to projects.

While the company was experienced in using paid media to engage audiences and spur sales, this revamped strategy opened new ways to sustain, maintain and nurture consumer relationships across owned channels and touchpoints.

Sharpening measurement tools: Ongoing campaign planning and execution is measuring performance and improving the effectiveness of the end-to-end demand generation process. This equips Rust-Oleum with the ability to optimize their retail media, drive brand awareness and allow for future project inspiration. And it is building organizational confidence that will guide future investments.

Results

Rust-Oleum kicked off the first campaign using this full-funnel approach in late 2023, with plans to run through the summer of 2024. Paid search, paid social, and direct partnerships with industry publications began generating positive outcomes almost immediately.  And the new approach is helping the team use real-time performance data to refine and enhance investment strategies, which are skills it needs to compete in dynamic retail environments.

Rust-Oleum’s robust data analysis has allowed the team to develop vital experimentation muscle. The current marketing campaign includes many new test and learn approaches to assess paid media impact on sales and improve marketing performance, thus driving future investment decisions.  Armed with these findings, the company is moving beyond advertising, creating web and mobile experiences that enrich the consumer journey.

Rust-Oleum is evolving from a traditional wholesaler to a consumer-centric organization, tapping into new audiences and product use cases to drive sales more effectively.

These insights are building the brand’s retail resilience, helping it make profound correlations between marketing efforts and sales impact. These are the kind of “aha” moments that build brand relevance and lead to uncommon growth.

“This effort involved new thinking for Rust-Oleum. Armed with more robust data and insights, we can drive sales and support our retail partners. Prophet helped us bring deep credibility and rigorous data measurement. That was invaluable in demonstrating the impact of Demand Generation to our executives. The Prophet team is also fun and meshed with us in ways we haven’t experienced before. That helped us upskill our own teams and get to unexpected solutions faster.”

Vialto Partners

Helping a 170-year-old brand gain new ground in global mobility

Challenge

Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) has been a well-respected professional services network and thought leader for over 170 years. In response to the rapidly changing needs of global workforces—and in partnership with a Private Equity sponsor—PwC identified a unique opportunity to unlock greater value through the spin-out of a dedicated global mobility business. So we combined Vialto Partners’ vast global reach and institutional credibility with the vigor, speed, and ambition of a CD&R Capital -backed NewCo—creating a hybrid solution designed to capture growth and maximize enterprise value from day one.

Solutions

As part of the Vialto launch, we weren’t just launching a website—we were building the brand foundation for a newly independent, CD&R Capital-backed company. Following a comprehensive discovery phase, a key finding among Vialto’s employees and clients was the deep belief that global mobility has the power to be a force for good. Guided by both cultural insight and investor ambition, we helped Vialto Partners shift their frame of reference from offering Global Mobility Services to Global People Solutions—supporting the firm’s human-centric mission and expanding the brand’s relevance and commercial scope.

The MVP site comprehensively positioned Vialto Partners as trusted experts—critical for a Private Equity-led spin-out aiming to reassure clients and accelerate market credibility. That effort began with the name. The NewCo brand name needed to be forward-looking and communicate the company’s ambition while honoring the legacy and expertise that shaped it. The crossbar of the “A” in Vialto evokes a bridge, depicting a sense of connection and upward momentum, while the bespoke and extended typeface conveys a sense of gravitas, trust, and expertise—striking the right balance between innovation and stability.

For the website, we laid out the Vialto story in a scannable, hierarchical way that unfolded a breadth of offerings—reassuring potential clients, investors, and partners that although this was a new company, it was far from an unknown entity. We established a future-ready design system that could scale with the business—essential to the Private Equity sponsor’s growth thesis—while maintaining accessibility best practices throughout. Then we built day-one launch anticipation through commercials, sizzle and campaign videos, paid search, and a variety of content across social media outlets—driving visibility, engagement, and early pipeline momentum.

Results

With proven results from the first phase, we are currently working on their 2.0 launch and beyond. We continue to interview stakeholders to get a holistic view of what works, what needs improvement and business goals that the web experience should address.

A three-phase road map was developed to design and implement a strategic taxonomy system and to introduce languages and customized content for different global regions. Thus, further personalizing and improving the user experience for Vialto Partner’s customers.

Scoperta!

Wooing young wine lovers with break-through creative and a full-funnel media campaign

Challenge

It turns out wine drinkers in America are thoroughly bored with the current online shopping options and wine clubs. Instead, young, wine-curious consumers want to broaden their horizons, but they’re frustrated that it’s so hard to explore America’s thousands of independent wineries.

Enter Scoperta!, a start-up that provides a richer experience for shopping for wine, including a fun, manageable exploration process. To disrupt the e-commerce wine market, Scoperta! needed name recognition and a digital marketing strategy to drive demand.

Scoperta! tasked Prophet with two objectives: create a buzz-worthy digital activation to accelerate name recognition, and develop a digital media campaign that included management, planning, buying and SEO strategy.

Solutions

Our team leaned into the brand’s charm, wit and audacious name to develop and orchestrate a digitally-focused campaign to connect with a new wave of discerning wine buyers – through an opera, of course!

First, we created a video opera, complete with beautiful arias. It tells the tragic tale of poor Brenda, a wine-loving woman disenchanted with the typical services of e-commerce wine brands. Her love affair with Scoperta! brought our “wine discovery made simple” campaign to life.

To reach our audience of adventurous customers aged 25 to 55, we developed a full-funnel media plan that leveraged video, podcast, search and social to drive awareness. Meanwhile, display, search and social drove consideration and conversion. Our team strategically chose specific tactics across each funnel stage, with prospecting audiences at the top and high intent/retargeting audiences at the bottom. We then paired the campaign’s creative with each tactic accordingly and tested various formats to optimize the performance.

Results

The campaign creative and media plan drove unprecedented engagement on YouTube. As we continually solidified learnings from smaller segments, we opened the campaign to a national buy, increasing brand awareness and driving sales during the company’s first months in the market.

The opera video has received several industry awards and recognition:

  • Finalist for Most Effective Use of Video in the 2022 Drum Social Media Awards
  • Gold awards for two categories in the 2023 Muse Creative Awards: Music video Category and Food & Beverage Video Category

Trellix

Building one modern cybersecurity brand from two storied players

Challenge

When Symphony Technology Group (STG) merged McAfee Enterprise and FireEye, they sought more than just a unified brand—they needed a bold, market-defining identity that would accelerate their investment thesis. It needed to demonstrate that in an age of cloud computing and machine learning, it could fend off the increasingly malicious actors that make headlines nearly every day. And it knew this new brand had to convey the strength and history of both companies.

STG partnered with Prophet to develop a modern, differentiated brand that could unlock enterprise value, fuel digital transformation, and position the NewCo for long-term growth.

Solutions

Prophet’s multidisciplinary teams dove into customer research with security buyers, quickly learning that these experts operate in a near-constant state of digital transformation. They wanted smart, responsive products that evolve to deal with ever-changing security threats. They wanted a partner that instills confidence in their ability to maintain and grow operations and organizations.

Prophet developed the core idea of NewCo’s brand strategy: living security – a system that learns and adapts. From this strategy, the Prophet verbal team created Trellix, a name that evokes a natural system that grows with customers.  It also reflects the powerful combined capabilities of the new company.

We then mapped out a brand expression for Trellix that telegraphs the new company’s purpose and promise. A distinctive graphic element invokes a pool of data lines, representing the artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms that are the backbone of the robust Trellix living security ecosystem.

Using a vibrant, modern color palette, the company’s new name and look convey an optimistic and positive approach to cybersecurity — a departure from the industry’s warlike and militaristic tropes. And our experience team developed a comprehensive content strategy for the new Trellix website.

Results

Prophet developed this new identity and digital experience in just under five months, leading up to the launch and included an internal celebration event and external marketing and PR campaign. Early analyst feedback on the brand has been positive, reflecting Trellix’s strong positioning for market leadership.

Brett Hannath, Chief Marketing Officer, explained that “Prophet helped us create a differentiated brand that conveys our fresh approach to cybersecurity. In a sea of same, Trellix stands out as we create a resilient digital world enabling trust and success.”

Solution
